Before heading to Berkshire Botanical Garden, on the most beautiful day of the whole summer (actually), Nora and the girls got ready at The Lenox Club. My associate Lisa and second shooter Abby felt so comfortable and excited for this day because they actually went to high school with Nora and Cody. Nora and Cody’s last “fancy” pictures together were from The Mount years ago when they attended prom together. They recently looked at these pictures and laughed, because it seems like so long ago when they first met. When Lisa did their engagement photos, they were excited to have some more updated photos of themselves.
The couple had plans for their wedding to be at Stonover Farm, but after postponing the wedding due to COVID, they rearranged for the wedding to be at Berkshire Botanical Garden, and the couple couldn’t have been happier. These two Berkshire natives moved back to the Berkshires after attending college in Boston. Nora was at Boston University and Cody was at UMASS Boston. Together with their 2 cats, their family, and their large group of friends, they are enjoy hiking and cooking right here at home.
Their ceremony took place in the herb garden surrounded by close friends and family and officiated by a mutual friend from high school. Much of the words expressed throughout the day were how perfect Nora and Cody are for each other, and how caring, loving, and also funny the two are. The reception was beneath a magnificent tent, filled with beautiful details and thoughtful gifts for each child attending. Speeches brought on laughter and tears as each person stressed just how much Nora and Cody meant to them and their first dance kicked off the dancing that was nonstop all night!
